The image of the Butterflies to our right is the stencil left over from a collaboration between JEA and the Bleeding Pig Festival, where JEA commissioned 22 timber butterflies of various sizes, which were set loose on the local community for the festival that year.
JEA are working on a collaboration for the 2025 festival, so watch this space.
Benefit
We understand that we are all connected and we endeavour to leverage that buy sponsoring and backing causes and teams both local and national that we believe in.
Over the years we have regularly sponsored local teams St Pats GAA and Portrane Hockey Club. Every year we also back the Simon Open Door Event and in 2025 JEA will be partnering with a Charity that supports Irelands newest and most vulnerable people.
Learning
As Architects we have mandatory Annual CPD training to undertake in order to maintain our professional registration.
This insures we meet minimum industry standards and is overseen by the RIAI.
In 2024 we under took a practice field trip to the Venice Biennale and to the City itself as way of increasing our learning and love of architecture. The image to the right is an extract from the Pamphlet that Ian created for the trip, which set out 9 areas of interest visited by JEA on this learning expedition.
Transition
Every year we offer a number of places to Transition year Students who undertake the RIAI Transition Year Program for the week while gaining work experience.

If you are interested in coming to JEA for a work experience You must fill in the FORM on the attached link and we will get back to you, if we have capacity this year.
